Hackathons and jams are a great way to push the design and collaboration process to the limit and really focus on defining tangible solutions within 24-48 hours. I’ve taken part in a few such events, and although always very intense and exhausting, the aspects I enjoy every time are the diversity of people you end up working with, and the things you get to learn from one another.
I’ve been in a few situations where I’ve been the person in the team with most experience with eg. user research, design and co-design activities so it’s been great to share the design love and open people up to new possibilities.
